Hi! I’m Courtney
I’m a Photo Organizer living in Chapel Hill, NC with a very active 10-year-old son. I love to document the fun things we do together and between our activities and travels, we really take a lot of pictures! If you are anything like me, my iPhone photos add up quickly and can be quite overwhelming to deal with.
Not long ago, I helped my mom move out of her home of 37 years and discovered that her print photos were EVERYWHERE. The process of simply finding them was a monumental task, not to mention deciding which ones to keep and which ones needed restoration before they were lost forever.
While I had originally been focusing on helping people manage their digital photos, my mom’s move made me realize that there are a lot of people who are dealing with large print photo collections that need to be downsized and properly preserved.
As a result, I have combined the need for digital photo support with the mountains of overwhelm clients feel when they look at their print photo collections. I am thrilled to offer services that address both needs and do it in a judgement-free, trustworthy, and compassionate way.
I started Decluttered Digital with the mission to help others who are overwhelmed by their digital photos. Now I focus on preserving and sharing your entire photo legacy, both print & digital. I draw on a 20-year background in working with people as well as my experience in the tech industry to bring a personalized experience to my clients. I look forward to meeting you!

Anna Hill Avery, Digital Retouching
Anna Hill Avery is an artist who works across industries. She uses her broad skillset to do everything from retouching product images for store catalogs, to creating custom art for commercial spaces, to digitally repairing damaged family photos. Anna has a fine art degree from ECU and lives in Garner with her husband, three cats, and son.

Ben Alper, Photography & Printing
Ben Alper is an artist, photographer, printer and publisher based in Carrboro. His studio, Flat Space, specializes in museum-quality inkjet printing, the creation of large scale murals and high resolution art reproduction.

Courtney Plaster, Founder | Certified Photo Organizer
With a 20 year background in client supporting roles, Courtney brings a unique combination of academic training in art and theater production to the technology space. As a Certified Photo Manager, and as a member of the Advisory Board for The Photo Managers, Courtney is a project manager at heart with a comprehensive approach to problem solving. Drawing from her travels abroad, vast professional network, and supplemental training, she brings an personal and hands-on approach to each project. Courtney has a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in Carrboro, North Carolina with her son and two cats.
